Stockport Council have completed their relocation to new offices known as Fred Perry House. The building was named in honour of the world famous tennis player who was born in Stockport in 1909.
The £12m project offers approximately 47,000 sq ft of floor space over 5 floors and accommodates 500 Council workers relocated from various offices.
Around 500 positions of the Neo system were installed in the new, energy efficient premises creating a stylish and contemporary working environment. Neo acrylic screens as specified for the open plan office areas maximise the effect of natural light where the divides have been created.
Tangent designed and manufactured bespoke desks for hot desking points in a wave shape and fitted desks for interview suites. Flexible, mobile flip top tables were supplied for meeting areas.
Tangent products were chosen after rigorous assessment of the market by a panel involving The Archial (Architect), Carillion (Building Contractor) NPS (Property Services Partner) and the Council representatives. The furniture was introduced to the panel by our Liverpool dealer Penkeths Business Office Supplies.
