We are pleased to announce that Lee Harrison joins Tangent Office Furniture Ltd as Northern Business Manager. 

Lee is replacing Ian Norfolk, who has been recently promoted to the role of National Sales Manager. Lee will be responsible for the further development and support of our growing number of dealer accounts in the North. He has over 13-years of technical sales and customer service experience. Having worked for CMD Ltd for almost a decade, Lee brings to the role a solid understanding of the challenges in integrating power and technology with furniture for commercial interiors.

Tangent Office Furniture Ltd, a leading office furniture manufacturer from Chalgrove in Oxfordshire, is pleased to announce that John Irwin has been appointed Managing Director.

John is returning to Tangent after almost 10-years as CEO at Bisley Office Furniture. He brings to the role extensive leadership experience, with an impressive track record in strategic business development, supported by over 25 years of industry knowledge. A successful MD during the 1990s, John left Project Office to become part of the Chalgrove team in 1994. Under his stewardship of 12-years, the company saw rapid business expansion resulting in an annual turnover of £27 million. 

John’s return to Tangent coincides with the company’s continued development, which has seen progressive expansion through organic sales growth and acquisitions. As we embark upon the next stage, John’s strategic know-how and industry insight will add to Tangent’s commitment to supplying innovative, high quality products at competitive prices, and providing excellent customer service and sale support.

Reflecting on his appointment John said: “I’m very pleased to be returning to Tangent and have the opportunity to lead such a hardworking and committed team again, many faces I still recognise. Tangent in collaboration with CMS Ergo, Silverline and Viasit have shown their support for the charity Reuben’s Retreat,  providing them with much needed office furniture and accessories for their two sites.

Reuben’s Retreat was founded in 2012 following the tragic passing of Reuben Graham, aged just 23 months, due to a rare brain tumor. His mother, Nicola vowed to help others and created Reuben’s Retreat in her son’s memory, to help support families with children who have life limiting or terminal illnesses. Reuben’s Retreat will open its first phase, The Lodge, in October and The Gallery Clerkenwell’s partners generously provided furniture for the offices.
